Originating in Russia, brow lamination took the rest of Europe & the US by storm in 2019. During 2020 it was the most searched beauty treatment in Australia during & post-lockdown! It's a gentle three-step keratin treatment, which lasts up to twelve weeks. The process involves straightening the hairs (similar to a keratin hair treatment), resulting in a brushed-up uniform appearance with a beautiful silky texture. Giving the brow & facial structure an instantly lifted affect. Brow lamination may include a brow tint, wax & tweeze, if desired. Finishing off with a nourishing oil to complete the lamination process.
Appointment: Approx. 45 mins. It's advisable to book in for brow lamination maintenance between 5-6 weeks after your brows are laminated. This treatment isn't suitable if you're pregnant or experiencing any skin irritations eg. dermatitis or eczema within the eye or brow area.
After-care: Avoid getting your brows wet for 24hrs after your brow lamination. Then you'll be able to style your brows by simply brushing them into your desired shape, preferably when damp. Avoid over brushing them when dry. Ensure you regularly apply a nourishing oil to your brows, such as Elleeplex to maintain softness or castor oil to stimulate growth. Do not laminate over laminated brows! If you're unhappy with results from another salon, you'll need to wait at least 5 weeks for the hairs to return to normal before I can laminate them again for you. However, you may wish to book a maintenance appointment instead before you consider re-laminating them to ensure optimum brow hair health.
Brow lamination maintenance:
If you're a frequent laminator, you might consider booking in for a maintenance appointment between 4-6 weeks after your brow lamination. This will help extend the life of your lamination, while maintaining the integrity of your brow hair health. The process involves a deep cleanse, followed by a two step Olaplex treatment, designed to re-build the bonds of your hairs from the inside out. Followed by tinting & shaping/grooming, if required. Finishing up with a nourishing oil. If you've previously had a lash lift, this would be a perfect time to get your lashes cleansed, re-tinted & treated too. You may also consider this treatment, if you've previously had your brows laminated elsewhere & are unhappy with the results. If your brows have been over processed, you'll need to wait for them to recover/re-grow before laminating them again.
Appointment: Approx. 45 mins. Between 4-6 weeks after your lamination treatment.
After-care: No after-care required. However, I do highly recommend regularly cleansing & nourishing your brows (see above details in lamination after-care.) Elleeplex is available for purchase in-studio.

A three-step process which lifts, volumises, lengthens & nourishes your lashes, lasting up to twelve weeks. Lash lifts include a lash tint & nourishing treatment. A great low-maintenance alternative to lash extensions. Perfect if you suffer from allergies, rub your eyes, enjoy an active lifestyle, swim/surf, are going on holiday or just dislike wearing mascara. They're best suited if your natural lashes are fairly straight & therefor aren't very visible without curling & applying mascara. A lash lift may not be suitable if you have very short lashes or hooded eyelids/lack of visible lid space. If you have an event coming up such as a wedding or formal, please note you cannot apply false lashes onto lifted lashes.
Appointment: Approx. 45mins Please arrive with mascara-free lashes, as any product residue will compromise the outcome of your treatment.
After-care: Avoid getting lashes wet for 24hrs after your lash lift. Regularly apply a nourishing oil such as Elleeplex (available for purchase) to maintain condition & softness. This can also be applied to brows. Mascara can be worn, if desired after the 24hrs. You may wish to book in for a lash tint, when you have your brows done in between your lash lift appointments.
A five step process that involves mapping, waxing, tweezing, trimming (although I rarely do this now, as brow trends have evolved) & tinting. I don't offer threading, as this may cause damage to your hair follicles, resulting in bald patches. I prefer to work with your natural brow shape to minimise maintenance, the aim is for a full, fluffy healthy looking set of brows that frame your face, drawing attention to your eyes. The overly arched, heavily tinted brows of the past can appear too severe & tend to age you. Whereas, a fuller, flatter style is a lot more youthful.
Appointment: Approx. 45mins
After-care: No after-care required. However, if you have an event coming up. I'd advise to get your brows done at least three days prior. Otherwise, makeup may not adhere to your skin where the brows have been waxed. To care for your brows, you should shampoo & condition them when washing your hair. To encourage brow growth, pure castor oil is your best bet, but consistency is key! (You'll notice that the main ingredient on most over priced brow serums is castor oil.) Try to include your brows in your skincare regime too, when moisturising, exfoliating etc. The more attention they get, the happier they'll be. On that note: PLEASE try not to shape/tweeze/trim your brows your self. You'll just end up undoing the work of your brow stylist, setting you back several steps in your brow journey. Although once a fan of threading, I now know it can damage the follicle, resulting in hairs growing in odd directions or if they're extremely damaged, the hairs may not grow back at all. Brow trends are constantly changing, just like the shape of our faces over time. So, I'd be worried about the possibilities post-threading.
