Q. Do you offer mobile hair & makeup services in Byron Bay or travel for destination weddings?
A. Yes, we do! We offer mobile hair & makeup services in Byron Bay, Ballina & surrounding areas in the Northern Rivers. We also travel to Sydney for weddings & photo shoots. I have a home-based studio in Ballina. Ask us for a quote for your 2027 destination wedding.

Q. Are you taking bridal hair & makeup bookings for 2027?
A. Yes, our bridal books are currently open for hair & makeup in Byron Bay. We generally close them in September & re-open them in January, after peak season's over.

Q. How far in advance should I book my bridal hair & makeup artistry team?
A. As soon as your date is set & venue is booked. Peak wedding season in Byron Bay happens from Wednesday through to Sunday all year 'round including Winter, with the exception of January. Monday's are popular for elopements & micro weddings.

Q. When should I book my hair & makeup trial?
A. No more than six months out from your wedding day, at my home-studio in Ballina.

Q. Are your hair & makeup services vegan & cruelty free?
A. Yes, we're a vegan & cruelty free hair & makeup team. Leah uses vegan & cruelty free brand O&M for hair. I use a variety of vegan & cruelty free brands, such as Makeup by Mario, Charlotte Tilbury & Hourglass Cosmetics.

Q. Do I need to hair extensions if I'm having Hollywood glam-waves on my wedding day?
A. Even if your hair is long & thick, 95% of brides still require extensions for height, fullness & longevity. Leah can advise & colour match you during your preview/trial. She offers an extension hire service as an add-on to our bridal packages.

A. 1. Enquire via the form 2. Complete & sign your contract 3. Pay deposit 4. Your date is secured 5.Schedule is approved 6. Final invoice is settled a month prior to your wedding day
A. Our non-bridal booking process: 1. Enquire or DM 2. You'll receive a confirmation text &/or email once booked in 3. No deposit is required 4. We'll instruct you of any necessary hair or skin prep 5. You'll receive a reminder 24hrs before your appointment

Q. Can you help me plan my pre-wedding skincare routine & hair care plan?
A. We can offer you our professional advice & recommendations via email or in-person during your hair & makeup trial.

Q. Do you offer airbrush makeup?
A. No. I was taught airbrush at Sydney Makeup College. I don't like the formula, I find it dries out & ages the skin's appearance. It's also very cold when it ejects from the nozzle, often causing clients to flinch when it hits their face. It dries down immediately, emphasizing where any movement has occurred. Eg. Creasing around the eyes, mouth, frown lines & forehead. I believe using products that contain skin loving ingredients, expertly applied in thin layers with quality brushes is a much better approach. Ensuring your makeup is flawless, long lasting & radiant.
